Online Purchase Return Policy
Standard Shipping Items
FurnishView, LLC accepts the return of Standard Shipping item(s) within 7 days of delivery. This condensed window allows us to maintain our high standards of quality and ensure that all returned inventory remains in “like-new” condition for our Chicago clients.
Return Conditions and Process
- Timeframe: To qualify for a return, you must initiate your request with Guest Experience within three (3) days of the delivery date.
- Damage Reporting: Any items delivered damaged or defective must be reported within 72 hours of receipt to qualify for a free exchange or repair.
- Original Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unused condition with all accessories, parts, and original packaging. Items that have been assembled, modified, or used cannot be accepted for return.
Refunds and Fees
- Nonrefundable Charges: Original shipping, delivery, and handling charges are nonrefundable.
- Return Logistics: Customers are responsible for all return shipping or pickup fees associated with the return.
- Processing: Appropriate exchanges, credits, or refunds will be issued for the purchase price. Please allow 10 business days or more following our receipt and inspection of the item for the credit to appear on your original payment method.
Manufacturing Defects
For Standard Shipping items where a manufacturing defect is discovered after the 7-day return period has expired, please consult the manufacturer’s warranty, if any.
IMPORTANT: ITEMS PURCHASED VIA STANDARD SHIPPING MAY NOT BE RETURNED IN-PERSON AT OUR CHICAGO SHOWROOM. All returns must be processed through our designated return carrier.
White Glove and Doorstep Delivery
(For Items Ordered Online)
Please inspect your items thoroughly upon delivery or pickup. Because these items are handled by specialized teams, our policy for In-Home and Doorstep delivery is as follows:
- Damage and Defects (The 3-Day Rule): You MUST contact Guest Experience within three (3) business days of delivery if your item is damaged or defective. We will work with you to repair the item or provide a replacement. We strongly recommend inspecting all surfaces and mechanisms while the delivery team is still on-site.
- Non-Damaged Returns: NON-DAMAGED AND NON-DEFECTIVE ITEMS MAY NOT BE RETURNED. Once a White Glove or Doorstep Delivery is completed and signed for, the sale is final. We do not accept returns for “buyer’s remorse,” style preference, or size issues.
- Manufacturing Defects: For defects discovered after three (3) business days, please consult the manufacturer’s warranty. FurnishView, LLC will assist you in navigating the warranty process, but we cannot authorize a return to our showroom after the initial 3-day inspection window has passed.
Return Requirements & Conditions
All items must meet the following criteria to receive a refund:
- New/Unused Condition: Items must be in original, “like-new” condition. We cannot accept returns on items showing signs of wear or assembly.
- Complete Packaging: Items must be securely packed in all original packaging (waived only if the packaging was removed by our team during White Glove Delivery).
1. Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)
We do not accept returns or exchanges on the following (except for documented damage reported within 3 days):
- Final Sale & Clearance Items
- Special Orders (items not part of our regular stock)
- Personalized or Monogrammed Items
2. Mattresses and Foundations
Returns are strictly controlled by the manufacturer’s warranty. Due to hygiene regulations, once a mattress is unsealed or used, it cannot be returned to our showroom.
3. Exchanges and Refunds
Items are inspected immediately upon receipt.
- Refund Amount: Refunds are issued for the purchase price. Taxes are refunded per Illinois state law.
- Costs: Return shipping/pickup fees are the customer’s responsibility unless the item was damaged upon arrival.

If you purchased your items at our Chicago showroom, please refer to the specific terms and conditions located on the back of your physical sales receipt.
Independent Store Policy
FurnishView, LLC is an independently owned and operated Ashley retailer. We establish our own localized policies that may differ from the national Ashley website. For all showroom inquiries, please contact our Chicago team directly.
